Your Surgeon Asaad Hosni joined Frimley Park Hospital as a Consultant Surgeon for ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery in 1998, having previously held a similar position at the Edith Cavell Hospital in Peterborough. He was previously trained at St Thomas’, Guy’s, King’s, The Royal Marsden and Great Ormond Street hospitals. Mr Hosni has a special interest in snoring and facial plastic surgery. In 1996 he was instrumental in introducing a new laser treatment to treat severe snoring, and later a radiofrequency treatment for the same condition, with both treatments offered under local anaesthetic. Over the last 25 years Mr Hosni has performed a significant number of nose reshaping operations (rhinoplasty), and he now runs a weekly snoring and nasal blockage clinic as well as a separate facial plastic surgery clinic. Mr Hosni has had many articles on ENT related matters published throughout his career. His work in facial plastic surgery and the treatment of snoring has been presented regionally, nationally and internationally including presentations in Japan, Russia and the USA. He is also the ENT consultant advisor to the British Army.
